kalender.wiki may display labelled advertising, in particular through Google AdSense. Advertising is separated from editorial content, navigation and controls. Opening an advertisement or external reference may transfer data to the respective provider. Details about advertising partners, consent and withdrawal are available in the privacy policy.

Liability for content

As a digital service provider, we are responsible for our own content under generally applicable law. We are not required to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information generally or, without concrete indications, to investigate unlawful activity. Statutory obligations to remove or block information remain unaffected. Liability in this respect is possible only from the time we become aware of a specific infringement. We will remove affected content promptly when an infringement becomes known.

Calendar, public-holiday, school-break, solar and lunar information is prepared with care but may change because of legislation, regional exceptions, official updates or technical calculation differences. The responsible official authority remains decisive for legally binding, governmental, employment or financial decisions.

Our service contains links to third-party websites whose content we cannot control. The respective provider or operator is responsible for that content. Linked pages were checked for recognisable infringements when linked, and no unlawful content was apparent at that time. Continuous monitoring is unreasonable without specific indications. We remove relevant links promptly if an infringement becomes known.

Data licences

School-holiday data contains information from the OpenHolidays API and is used under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0.

Geographic place data contains information from GeoNames under CC BY 4.0. The information is selected, adapted and stored locally for kalender.wiki; the adaptation is identified and is not attributed to GeoNames. Sunrise, sunset and daylight duration are calculated locally by kalender.wiki from the date, coordinates and time zone.

Content and works created by the site provider are protected by German copyright law. Reproduction, editing, distribution and exploitation outside statutory limits require the prior written permission of the respective rights holder.
