A calendar without borders
kalender.wiki is a bilingual reference for annual calendars, public holidays and practical date calculations. It is designed for people planning travel, work, school or personal events across borders. Annual views from 2026 through 2050 are available for every supported ISO country and territory. Pages work on mobile and desktop, are print-friendly and require no user account.
How our calendar data is produced
The calendar grid is generated directly from Gregorian calendar rules. ISO week numbers follow ISO 8601: weeks begin on Monday, and week 1 is the week containing the year's first Thursday. Moon phases are calculated astronomically for the selected period. Sunrise and sunset use the date, coordinates and time zone; polar day and polar night are identified explicitly instead of being represented by invented clock times.
Public holidays are maintained separately by scope. A worldwide nationwide baseline is generated offline, checked before import and completely replaced by local rules for countries with detailed maintenance. Regional holidays name their state, canton, department or comparable administrative area and are not presented as nationwide. School holidays are updated regularly and stored with their published scope. The calendar distinguishes fully captured, partially published, not-yet-published and currently uncovered country-years. One-off future decisions are not invented; rule-based calculations and provisional dates are labelled as such. Official decisions, Moon-sighting dates and school schedules can change, so decisions with legal or financial consequences should also be checked against the responsible authority.
Editorial principles
Evgenij Penkov is responsible for editorial content. Our guides explain the result, method, assumptions and limitations. German and English are maintained separately. Calculator results support planning but do not replace legal, tax or human-resources advice.
A technically accessible page is not automatically treated as editorially published. Search publication is currently limited to the two planning-relevant years and countries with an independently maintained ruleset. Day, week and month combinations and more distant years remain available as tools, but are excluded from the search index. Automatically generated calendar combinations are ad-free. Coverage expands only after content review, not merely because an automated import produced a URL.

Public holidays can be exported as ICS, calendars print cleanly and calculators work without registration. Advertising may help fund operation and editorial maintenance.
