A calendar without borders
kalender.wiki is a bilingual reference for annual calendars, public holidays and practical date calculations. It is designed for people planning travel, work, school or personal events across borders. Current and future annual views are available for every supported ISO country and territory, with the complete available range shown in the year selector. Pages work on mobile and desktop, are print-friendly and require no user account.
How our calendar data is produced
The calendar grid is generated directly from Gregorian calendar rules. ISO week numbers follow ISO 8601: weeks begin on Monday, and week 1 is the week containing the year's first Thursday. Moon phases are calculated astronomically for the selected period. Sunrise and sunset use the date, coordinates and time zone; polar day and polar night are identified explicitly instead of being represented by invented clock times.
Public holidays are maintained separately by scope. A worldwide holiday baseline is generated offline and technically validated during import. More detailed local rules replace that baseline for selected countries. A successful import does not prove that every regional or municipal exception has been independently reviewed. Regional holidays name their state, canton, department or comparable administrative area and are not presented as nationwide. School holidays retain their published scope, and partial releases are explicitly identified. One-off future decisions are not invented, and projections are labelled as such. A review date is displayed only when a corresponding review is documented. Official decisions, Moon-sighting dates and school schedules can change, so decisions with legal or financial consequences should also be checked against the responsible authority.
Editorial principles
Evgenij Penkov is responsible for editorial content. Our guides explain the result, method, assumptions and limitations. German and English are maintained separately. Calculator results support planning but do not replace legal, tax or human-resources advice.
Search indexing focuses on selected calendars for the current and following year: annual, monthly and weekly views with an available holiday baseline, and school-holiday pages with sufficient published coverage. Solar, Moon and calendar-week pages use the same planning horizon. Daily views, distant years and partially published school-holiday pages remain usable but carry “noindex, follow”. Search eligibility does not certify that every holiday has been independently reviewed. Advertising eligibility is assessed separately against page quality and data coverage; incomplete school-holiday pages and excluded calendar combinations remain ad-free.
